The journey has just begun and yet so far to go,
cant wait till that day when you walk through my door
love you more than words can speak
yet every time you touch me i get so weak

staring out my window lost in thought
i wonder about your day and if your still lost
as the cars pass and the day grows dark
i notice a star still gleaming with spark

i wish upon that shooting star
to be with you because I'm so far
until the day i see your face
ill always miss your strength and grace
the way you hold me oh so tight
and keep me warm in the toughest night
